The Aspen Magazine Rack gives those favorites somewhere to belong. Inspired by the gentle curve of an aspen leaf, it turns a stack of magazines, journals, art books, or newspapers into part of the room itself. Rather than hiding them away, it celebrates the things that continue to inspire you—always within reach for another quiet morning, another cup of coffee, another moment of curiosity.
Each rack is handmade in my Leonard, Michigan studio from ten layers of sustainably sourced wood veneer. Every layer is carefully glued, pressed into its curved form, trimmed, sanded, and finished entirely by hand. The bent plywood construction creates a piece that's remarkably light yet exceptionally strong, allowing the sweeping form to feel effortless while securely cradling your collection.
Natural cork feet protect your table or floor from scratches and keep the rack stable in place. A hand-rubbed natural oil finish enhances the warmth of the wood while providing durable protection against everyday wear, water, and stains.
Like the magazines it holds, the Aspen is designed to age gracefully. It isn't simply a place to store reading material—it's an invitation to surround yourself with the ideas, stories, and objects that deserve to remain part of everyday life.
