They protect your surfaces, of course, but they're also an invitation to be more intentional with the objects you choose to live with.
Each coaster is handcrafted to order in my Leonard, Michigan studio using ten layers of sustainably sourced wood veneer. Every piece is individually glued, molded, trimmed, sanded, and finished by hand, resulting in a coaster that is both functional and completely unique.
I finish each one with a hand-rubbed natural oil that provides durable water and stain resistance while enhancing the beauty of the wood grain. Cork feet on the underside help protect your furniture and keep the coaster securely in place.
Like all Ciseal products, these coasters are designed with longevity in mind. I believe the objects we surround ourselves with should be thoughtfully made, beautifully functional, and worthy of becoming part of our daily routines for years to come.
